Is Entrepreneurship for Everyone?

Can we truly imagine an Entrepreneur in every home?

There was a movie that recently came out called Lucy.  The synopsis of this film was about a woman who becomes a drug mule against her will.  She turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic when she accidently ingests the drugs that she is smuggling .

This drug has some powerful effects when ingested in large quantities which allows her to unlock 100% of her brain’s capacity.  The more of her brain she unlocks thoughout the movie, the more her abilities increase, and the more unstoppable she becomes.  Of course this sci-fi just gets totally out of hand by the end of the movie, but for me, the take-a-way was this:  Change comes from within and when you unlock traits you didn't know you had, along with your purpose in life, you can increase your abilities and become unstoppable to live your life's dream.

A year and a half ago, I began a journey, the journey to imagine an entrepreneur in every home.  How different would the world be if one out of seven of us decided to discover our true purpose in life and be 100% responsible for that purpose?  How do we get to one billion entrepreneurs globally? How would this change the world?

This movement of an entrepreneur in every home is about waking up the power of the global community. This starts with redefining the word entrepreneurship to mean “taking responsibility for outcomes.” Once this happens, and one billion people become purpose driven entrepreneurs, I’m certain the world will be a much more hospitable place.

During filming of the documentary film, A Billion Entrepreneurs, cast members were all asked why they decided to join this movement, and what it would mean to them if there was an entrepreneur in every home.  Visit our YouTube channel to hear their responses.

I believe by redefining entrepreneurship, this will inspire more people to become an entrepreneur and take responsibility for their actions and their purpose in life.  I would love to hear your thoughts on this topic.
